Ready To Tape? Not Before You Sweep!

When it’s time to tape temporary lines on your gym floor, its really time to sweep. You never want to apply tape to a floor that isn’t really clean.

Grit and dirt that might not really cause any floor damage can become a real problem when they are trapped under tape.

Instead of being kicked up during play or being “captured” by a soft shoe, grit under tape can continue to be ground into exactly the same spot on the floor every time it is walked. on. It can’t move and just keeps digging in.

Mop your floor regularly (don’t try to tape a wet floor) and always dry mop with a clean dust mop-microfiber is best-before applying tape.

In addition to minimizing floor wear, the tape will stick better too.
