Beware The 36 Yard Roll

There are entirely too many “standard” size rolls when it comes to tape sizing. For years, the two standards were 60 yards and 36 yards.

Multiple times in the past several years, major tape manufacturers have reduced roll sizes as a way to raise prices without raising prices, if that makes any sense. It is the same tactic as putting less and less cereal in the box.

Lots of suppliers of gym floor tape sell 36 yard rolls instead of the long term standard 60 yards.
